    Dot Trading for Dummies

    My journal to the unpossible.

I was once told, that prosperity can only be reached through intense dediion and hard work. No luck involved. I've since built my life around this idea...

Excuse me, will soon be back shortly - need to go check the lotto numbers....

I've always been an indior type. I understand they lag. I understand. I know.I understand. . Yet, I enjoy trading them. The core of how I trade, is represented by Dots. All these are MA cross type dots. With the normal issues. . .but upon getting to understand them, they really do provide modest windows of opportunity.

The goal will be a modest 30 pips daily - assembled from 1 pair, or 3 pairs. I am trading GBP/USD, EUR/USD and EUR/JPY.

But let you know what - if you can sort out the overall direction upfront, these dots are gold. So - join me as an observer, as I try to really earn some profits trading.

The wonderful thing about those dots, are that they will, occasionally, also pose a good exit, in the event you receive the overall direction right - and I understand a lot people are fighting in this section. I invite you to join in. Young and old - to find out who can find/build the greatest system with those dots since the core. I use bicycles to assist, but these I can not share.

Welcome to Dot Trading for Dummies.

PS - I will post the dotties a little later...

    Regards

    My Brother!!

So happy to see you start this sir! I'll watch very closely and who knows, possibly even be able to donate a few of my nonsense. . .LOL

    This is fun!

    OK - we get amazing.

A few adjustments to the input parameters of the exact same indior set, will give us the segments that are secondary. Occasionally, good for a pre-warning, and as exits. But only at times.

All these are bugged by the very same ghosts normally found together with the MA type cross indiors. However, I find these useful. They're marked on the chart. ( light blue for long/ short exit)( Funny reddish color for short / extended exit)

The actual indior set to follow shortly...

    Good day to you,

Okay - herewith the base pair of indiors.

All goes into your indior folder.

Again, you need to know the following:Grail? No Of any worth then? - You betcha All these are attemptng a balance between too many cross signals, and overshoot. Do they repaint? - not - they re-calculate - this entails that a kneejerk move in the opposite direction may see a sign disappear - but this is nothing new to MA crosses. Do they move around? - not - they re-calculate - this entails that a dot may move back one pub, should the move in the intended direction be powerful - but this isn't a concern, as this is good. . The principal dots - those we're most concerned over, are set as follows:

After all indis are at the indiors folder, you just need to join the Taucross for your chart. Better on 30min and over. When you see the inputs part, you will leave all as is, except changing the following:T3 period from 14 to 28 Snake_Halfcycle from 5 to 10 The rest remains the same. Under the colours tab, raise the ratio in 1 to 3.

    Done.

To put the secondary dots, you attach for another period the Taucross. This time, you leave all as is. Thus T3 period remains @ 14 and Snake_Halfcycle stays @ 5. Just change the colours to a ligher shade of each, so it's visibly different.

Today - start working on determining the true direction, and post a few solutions.

I will add to this later. .

    Regards and keep well
