I have very little experience with those retail platforms - prepared to test a couple to see how they tick. Any ideas? As an aside, I worked for a US bank in their own trading floor - so I am not super duper familiar with retail trading platforms. I worked with one - simple to use, maybe not great charting - not horrible. Want to proceed to ECN and Find out the fuss over MT4. Thanking you in advance for your input.

The allure of MT4 is for automation and that's the benefit as I watch it. . .but that's my opinion and many may disagree with me...

Anyway's...

The advantages of MT4 automation come shining through, when you find all the freelance developers available to offer their services. Some are expensive. . .some are costly. . .and yes a few giving souls out there work for free...

If you would like to understand how to program a EA you will find publiions on the C language...I have not seen any that I know ...

In case your smarter than me (that's easy) and possess a programming apptitude (I do not) then it's possible to research and maybe in a couple of years it is possible to start your journey if you would like to learn to code from a blank part of screen. . .now if you would like to be a copy and paste jockey. . .you may prolly' speed this up 10-fold.

All this is just my opinion. . .so take it.
