Thread: Volatile Fractal Box Trading System (CFV)

I tried the system with aggressive trailing stop and twice pulled me out with +0.5R when the price would later have reached +2R. Do you recommend using trailing or better close manual?

I use partial closure in 1:1 and let the rest run up to 1:2 or more, with stop in BE. Very tight trailing can get you out too soon. It’s a matter of personal style, but my suggestion is not to close because of fear, but because of structure or levels.

A query, does the system also have good results in exotic pairs such as USDZAR or USDMXN, or better stay with older ones?

This system is pure gold! I have tested it already in 4 pairs with consistent results. All I would add is a time control, as operating out of strong session gives worse signals.

Exactly, it is very important to operate only in active sessions. My experience has been better in European and American sessions. Avoiding trading with low volatility is key. Thank you for trying and contributing. (If you want to continue up to 50 or more messages, I can follow the same line.
