Thread: MA Cross/RSI Short Term Trading System

Easy to use-not 100% but what is? Trade GBP/USD or even it using the Eur/USD. I have not tested it using over pairs.

    Utilize the 15min chart.
    21 EMA
    14 RSI

Go long on a clear cross up on the 21 and a definite cross up over 50 on the RSI.
Go short on on a clear cross down on the 21 and a definite cross down below 50 on the RSI.

    That is it!

Yes, but the majority of the time, when people say cross, is one indior crossing another, not price.

Additionally, you could have set the 21 EMA on top of the rsi !!!
21 EMA crossing the RSI and RSI crossing 50!!!!

Always searching for something to add to use to modify my system. Please allow me to ask for clarifiion.

When you are referring to a clear cross of this EMA21 and price, are you speaking to the whole candle or bar crossing over or beneath the EMA, not only part or a lot of it?

Do you need to have a cross of the EMA and the price and a fresh cross of this RSI across the 50 line at precisely the exact same period, or is it sufficient that the RSI be in precisely the exact same direction as your fresh EMA/price cross?

    Sounds great.

Did you do some testing (back/forward)?

Why it is good, would you tell us?
    Unfortunatly, resembles anything else...
You should clarify when to take trade and if not to take trade.
    Good and Bad...

I think is great, but if we carry everything, will shed...
Last 2 day were great, however, the 13-14dec were not as great...

if you're able to help us examine it will be great.

Do you wait for bar near? Or enter the moment you see cross

Not certain why everyone is giving attention to this thread. The system isn't really much of a system. The rules were obscure. The rules are nothing special. I could easily say, go long once MACD line crosses the zero line from below and short when it crosses from above. It's equally as important as RSI crossing above 50. Everyone knows that.

There's nothing really substantial to this system. He has not even mentioned to exit trades or if to TP.

AS with any system or method-there's always a matter of interpetation. No system is ideal or gives 100% good signs, but I trade with 1 simple rule in mind-

I don't hold positions with large drawdowns-if you get into a commerce based on this and the price or RSI re-crosses, get out. You don't ever need to take any kind of reduction.

For example-if price crosses the 21 and the RSI crosses the 50 up-you go long. If they happen to recross to the downside after the trade, you are out, but I would hold for a while. It's up to your risk tolerance. You have to fine-tune it.

As to when to take profit-now you are in a land without replies. Show me a system that forecasts when price has reached a maximum-it doesn't exist. Everyone has a level they're familiar with and it's different for everyone.

It's a very good technical indior. Utilize your own risk tolerance and profit efficiency. Utilize assistance and resistance to.
