Ah but the grass may not be greener, Digs. The broker will always charge you a commission (usually 1 pip roundturn, maybe more)

so that you have to wait until you receive choice (zero spread) or reduced spreads before it's beneficial. In other words, if the spread widens to 4 or 5 pips, you're not gaining anything.

Then there's the risk of not getting full of a massive order.... So you might consider chunking your order into smaller ones.... And because you enter, the spread may elongate on you (it's not likely to be instant, you understand.)

I am only trying to state that ECNs are no slam dunks!

The main benefit is not having a dealing desk trade against you.

I hope 8 out 10 times disperse for GBPUSD will be two pips or less ( plus $10 per lot), that'll be great for me!!

They state they're an introducing broker - do you know who they're connected with? Commissions seem pretty aggressive.
