See, now you're changing what you had in your original post. Which is great, since, quite honestly, your post about a trade in a random direction was just plain dumb.

If you exchange with the total trend and take profits X pips at a time, I will see the value in thisparticular. However, it's still risky because (as somebody else pointed out) you could wait a little while for it to return to you. Furthermore, if you're trading with small pip TP, then timeframe doesn't make a difference, tick-by-tick testing would be required by this on any TF.

I'd alter your original requirements to:
1 - Possess a parameter for LONG or SHORT - trader places this into the total tendency
2 - Open a trade and have a small TP such as 10Pips, no SL
3 - When the TP is struck, open a new place, same direction
4 - When the current price is more than X pips from the open order (i.e. you're losing money) open another commerce, same way. I would set this at 1000 pips. The next trade ought to help bail you out if you still think in the overall trend.

10 Pips TP is to little. This would mean we have to get 3x 250 = 750 Winners for 1000% and 3x 75 = 225 Trades simply to double check it.
I've tested my bidirectional notion for the last days which was very easy to handle and my balance keeps increasing (along with equity) that adds margin to my staying order. Ofcourse once you were able to purchase to let us say 40k you'd not allow a trade down you under 10k. But that's unlikely to happen. As you're just subjected by (Lotsshort - Lotsbuy).
The arbitrary trade was because I wished to determine if a coin toss system could make you money.

    Hello Tj,

good, I did a fast EA for back testing your idea.

I did it only market, TP30. Since mine is mini account with LiteForex, the tiniest let lot size is 0.1. I tweak a little that following each TP, the lot dimensions just increase by plus 0.1 more.

Month of august, the tendency is down, so sell make the account growth.
I will try buy and see whether it's mc.

    Wow thanks.
I am happy to see some progress.
Yes it's quite difficult to backtest because at one point you'd
undo our order placement. The only scenario where you would have
gotten dangerously close to a margin call if you'd opend that a BUY
    right at the alltime high.
    Does the lotsize managment function?
So each new order has a higher lotsize like in my own dictionary?

Maybe my bidirectional Idea could be carried out by simply putting
a Market only on a single chart and a buy only on the other.
If the TPs are struck every one takes a peek at the new equilibrium.

In the event the TPs are hit every one takes a peek at the new balance.
This graph indicates the idea depends on the trending months.

If buy only, the order price push to the top limit, it proceeds to the high of the month and price not comeback, possibly after few months.

If trending is correct direction, the account create quite profitable expansion.

FOr BUY only in Oct08, deposit 10000, outcomes AccountEquity: -9970
    For SELL only in OCt08, deposit 10000, outcomes:AccountEquity: 33332

if two accounts open, net would be: 23332

    Thanks for this EA.
I find that lot here are raised based on account size. Might it be possible to provide a technique to specify a normal lotsize(0.01 etc.) and also multipliion variable for raising it for successive trades?

Anybody willing to help out with this one? Thanks
