Thread: % - movement indicator

Good morning,

I am searching for an indior that would demonstrate the price movement in percent from the available (00:00GMT - or manual input), e.g.: today's available on cable is 1.4269 and we're currently at 1.4160 (-109 pips or ~-0.75% over daily ).

Has anyone such an ind. or could write one without much attempt for metatrader?

You have to have in% or an easy range indior is going to do the job? Im using ranges all of the time as it is required data to know according to my trading procedure.

No, I would need exactly what I asked for - I do have a range indior (Hi/Lo, daily), which isn't much help I'm afraid.

I'll write it for you no matter. Do you desire a display for a histogram, or line in a separate window at the base or just a text displayed on the chart of their running percent? Either way is no issue, let me know you want it. I will set this up, which means you can choose which way you want the calc. Start as an open on the day/ time interval or a override for manual entry.

I will write it when you let me know on the display.

What I would like is that a (small) amount in the upper corner (left or right) of the chart telling me the motion in% by the open (that ought to really be 00:00 GMT or manual input based on the platform loion - since some platforms count the beginning of the day by GMT plus or minus).

It is a struggle to approximate this manually all of the time, hahaha.

Allow me to know if you can/want to perform it.
