    I possess an EA that I want to monitor in real time, have attached into a chart, enabled live trading, appears in upper right corner of the chart, but with an
    xray. Why doesn't it display the ?
    Obviously I'm not implementing any transactions in real time within my demo account.
    Can anyone explain what I should do to enable live trading for this particular
    EA?

    In MT4 pick Tools/Options/Expert Advisors,
    check Empower Expert Advisors checkbox
