Thread: Winners get kicked out?

  1. #1
A guy was kicked out of a Japanese broker (DMM). This guy had earned about 1mil profit over a couple of years and obtained a letter from the broker, stating he violated a company policy. Of course the coverage was implemented in a manner. He had been a day-trader, but not a scalper. No EAs were employed by him. He had been made to shut his account, however, obtained the amount he was made by that point.

I read this episode a week on a Japanese Currency Market forum.

    My question is,
Has anybody heard anything like this? (US brokers in particular)?

Don't be so trusting. Verify that advice first, gossip spreads and perhaps that trader did something that he actually violated the company's policy. Who knows? Anyways, you have no URL to this info, no name of this trader, no name of the broker so sort of hard to believe the whole thing only based on what you've said.

Nevertheless, some brokers will make the conditions unfavorable for a profitable forex trader, which normally takes place when the broker is taking the other side of the transaction.

I heard the stories about several rouge traders that got kick out by brokers in this forum. But this episode I am talking about is credible. The trader is called Yoshi and the broker is DMM who is one of major Japanese forex brokers.

Oops, looks like the broker was mentioned 'DMM', sorry, I thot you did some bizarre acronym or something, not a broker. Glad to learn about this story tho.

If this is true, then that's the guy's degree in gambling. He must go open up his own firm or brokerage or some thing.

You mean he climbed his account too fast? Or are you saying his profit 1mil is a lot of for retail brokers?
