    First time that I have seen this occur. Been with Alpari (UK) for approximately 6 weeks. I'm in Australia and both live and demo has been stuck for about 5 hours and we are coming up to near Asian session/London open. I hope that it gets sorted out.

    Alpari is generally a trusted broker, which is an uncommon occurence.

    I am in your area and my demo (Alpari UK) has 5 hrs gap within their data feed today.

    Anytime you have problems with your brokers, as far as accounts, feeds, etc, you need to call your broker instantly. Posting here will not solve the issue traders.

    Trust me, If my feed is one minute off, I will be on the phone. . .not on here.

    If you have this problem more than once, DROP your broker unless your in a demo account. I trade excellent size lots and uninterrupted feeds are not in my best interest.

    Perhaps they don't search for solution here. Perhaps they simply check if only their area of living has that issue. As if you read earlier articles, almost all of Asia and Europe, except Japan, had that issue. Then perhaps it's that the online link rather than the broker that at fault.

    And, incidentally, CTGUY, please consider telephone bill from other various nations. Try to live with third world nations standard wages and then put a call to England. You're gone broke in an instant.

    Well I discovered that now too, infact afriend of mine called and asked me if mine had been workin nicely, he had been usin d meat trader of another broker, so possibly not only alpari. Its working fine.

    Dear Clients,

    In 02:56am UK time on 03.07.2008 we experienced a technical problem with our main server. We have researched the situation thoroughly and have learned from yesterday#8217;s no error. I would also like to stress that no information was missing and there are no long term effects resulting from this one-off host failure.

    Yesterday, our IT support staff made a human error which prevented us from shing to our backup servers when the main server started to experience technical issues. The most downtime in spite of the most serious difficulty shouldn't be over 5-10 minutes. We've got 3 backup servers in separate physical loions as well as very comprehensive contingency plans for host downtime. Almost all probable issues that might arise have been planned for and our IT staff are extensively trained to fix any type of technical difficulty almost immediately.
