Thread: Alpari Stuck

I have a demo account with alpari also it's been stuck for about an hour just wondering if anybody is having that issue. Thank you.

It's working ok. Maybe your account was expired. If that's the scenario, you might want to start a new demo account.

Mine was stuck for a while to probably just where you're loed. I'm in the EST.. .

I'm on the West shore, and the damn thing is trapped here.

I'm loed in Japan. No problem at this instant. Depending on the information provided by other members, that problem has to be happening, based on where you're.

Stuck on Live server here too (France). I can connect to the demonion server but there are no new prices after 2.52AM GMT.
When changing then from demonion to live, you can view your current equity but not the open trades.
I suppose the databank crashed tonight.
Two of the 3 IPs do not respond to ping anymore.

What will be the IP addresses for demonion and live accounts?

After you establish the client terminal, it connects to our server loading a listing of IP addresses. If you indie that an IP address, not a logo type server name when you log in for the first time, the next time you start Metatrader 4 the program automatically loads the titles of accessible trading servers. The IP address you previously typed in will be changed to the symbol type name of this server (such as Alpari UK - Demo or Alpari UK - Live).
If one of the servers become unavailable, the customer terminal automatically switches to the upcoming available server.
For your live account choose Alpari UK - Live in the listing of servers. In case you cannot find this particular server name, type in one of the displayed below IP addresses:84.45.118.30:443 212.187.233.33:443 212.187.196.242:443 For your demo account choose Alpari UK - Demo in the list of available servers. In case you can't find this particular server name, type in one of the displayed below IP addresses:84.45.118.35:443 212.187.233.32:443 212.187.196.232:443

Im quite new to Alpari, so quite shocked that this is happening. As soon as I called them and asked if it will be again, they said that they are not certain also.

People who've been with Alpari for a while... please tell me that this does not happen frequently? It's rather scary how servers can go down once you have positions open?

I registered about only 1 month ago. It is the first time.

Until they fix their platform, in case you've got open positions, use a different MT4 demo account (MIG or so), check your transactions with the help of your daily confirmation mail and should you need to close any just telephone them
