U.S. markets were able to muster a favorable near and U.S. long-term Treasury yields rose, which caused Japanese institutional investors purchasing the dollar back, but Asian stocks continue under stress as concern about the robustness of this international economic recovery continued.

Wall Street was able to pull greater late last night, aided along by strong broker information, but the opinion did not flow into Asian trade, with the majority of the main markets seeing some drawback pressure also, though there were pockets of good news on the market, said Cameron Peacock, market analyst in IG Markets.
