Since you'd desire volatility so you are able to profit from a transfer, map a ATR (Average True Range) indi on the hourly chart of the pairs you'd like to trade. That should demone the range of day they are most volatile. Eur/Usd is your most even pair I've seen lately. Because it repeats so 10, its volatility can be mapped.

*In normal market terms, pairs are most active when they are morning to early day in their respected countries.

In the Eur/Usd this week, it had been most explosive from European Open or one hour before Euro Open (3am Eastern US), before only after US Close (2-4pm Eastern US time) which I marked in the gray areas.

I primarily exchange the EU, therefore I will actually trade from about 2am - 10 am EST
I did some statistical analysis about this time period, and for my system these would be the time that function best.

Here's what I came up with...

I totally agree. People have different needs according to what and how they trade. I think the best thing we can do is list the hottest trading occasions and newbies can pick for themselves which ones fit them the maximum.

For the newcomers its very tough to guarantee profit during news due to absence of most accurate fundamental knowledge.

It's not just difficult it is harmful to their accounts. The market's response to the news can be very inconsistent and just a seasoned trader would have the ability to react quickly and economically to such responses.

What are your comments about this ? What hours do you typically exchange ? And why ? Regards, pretorian1
There is no such as fixed trading session or interval! Basically, pro traders are fulltime traders really, they don't want for any particular trading session! They wait patiently for each chance of trading.
