Thread: 100% fool proof, cant possibly go wrong system

I have been doing so for 6 years now and I think it's time to talk about it.
Here's my system that has been paying my rent and then some for years and it's called:
    Trade the gaps.
It takes approximately 2 minutes every week and the one thing you need to do is trade the gaps when markets available on sundaynight.
    Yes. It's that simple.

Pairs I trade: EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD, EURGBP, EURJPY, EURGBP
Pretty conservative. I trade 5 lots and on average make #8364; 1300 a week with 2 minutes of work. The gaps are filled about 99% of the time. My SL is 50, my TP is the close of Friday. That's all. Enjoy your life! You'll have a lot of time to do all you prefer.
Backtest this and persuade yourself. The only reason you can lose is when you choose to trade some more during this week.

    Very interesting egy.
    Playing GAPS
The subject is a small dead, it is not in the interest of anyone to share understanding of the appropriate broker?
So where can you find out where we could take a look at brokers with fixed spreads?

Sounds interesting... Do you've got proof that it really works as you state? Perhaps trade explorer of your account. Everybody is able to state their system works but we cant really know until we see a confirmed track record.

Why don't you simply look at the charts ? The rules are straightforward and easily observable ...

I just did a manual back evaluation for the last year on AUD/USD and USD/CAD
    I ignored gaps of lt;10 pips. I used a 50 pip SL.
Oanda platform. I do not know if Oanda expands the spread in the Sunday open. I will need to wait till next Sunday to find out.

    AUD/USD
    15 trades
    15 W 253 pips
    0 L
    253 pips net.

    USD/CAD
    23 trades
    20 W 416 pips
    3 L -150 pips
    266 pips net

That is clear. There are people who consider a gap the gap between the end of Friday and open Sunday and some who consider the gap the gap between the high of the Friday bar and the open on Sunday. I was asking which he uses. The difference between the open and high is a lot easier to see.

If anyone is curious, the Casino dash has a built-in gap trading egy to the Sunday open.
