I'm fairly new to fx and have a newbee question.Mostly I look for constricting bollinger bands to start with and in particular situations where candles have gone high or low outside of the bands.
My issue is, instead of spend 24 hrs per day seeing for the patterns I'm searching for could someone recommend a software program that I could program to sound an audible alert when conditions are met? Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for you kind response. I'd pay for an external system if that was the only way to do it. And I love your suggestion however I was looking for a computer based app I could set-up at home.I am home full time but not always in front of my computer .So a computer centered alarm could be more beneficial than a mobile phone alert. Any ideas? . .Thanks

CMS (http://www.cmsfx.com) trading methods offer an audible alert anytime a signal is generated.

Forex.com has email alerts and sms alerts based on price standards. If you have yahoo msgr it'll make and audible alert when you recieve this email. Im sure you can get a computer based app also but it won't be liberated. I'd set the alert around 10 pips out of your interest so you have the time to respond. Hope this helps a bit.

Vt Trader includes A lot of trading systems. You can program anything to sound an alarm. It is not tooo difficult to program and that I think about anyone could figure out it. If you can't, there's plenty of help on the fourms in http://www.visualtradingcharts.com/ and http://www.cmsfx.com/en/platform/forum/

    MetaTrader 4 can do it...
Many brokers with this forum provide it free...
    Good luck...

You may try http://www.alertfx.com. I used them before to notify me of EMA crosses. They only offer easy alerts based on your own criteria. Nothing extravagant. Good Luck!
