Tedge uk, you are partly right the 95% that fail are mere statistics who just trade just like the rest of the failures. You're able to win many occasions but shed once and your lifeless. Trade like you state ie do exactly the opposite, has some merit but alas you get wiped out eventually. Funny thing is how I trade is something about the lines of what you imply and I live on which I make for the past 6 or 7 years.

The OP has an idea about what is necessary to develop into profitable but is he prepared for the reality?

Imagine if you're told that you will need to throw out almost all you've been taught as safe trading practices in order to become profitable, will you even listen?

Personally, I have found that stop reduction, risk reward, trend trading, tracking stop, traditional money management, allowing profit run while cutting losses short, etc, are all fair. However they create losing results.

Of course 95 percent of reasonableness here won't agree with me. But will you even listen, speak less of assessing it out?

    King.

Imo Once you're able to do the exact opposite of what you're doing you'll be profitable since you will not be doing the exact same stupid shit you're performing in the first place. The solution is that it requires training and time to do that.

So whats your thoughts guys,I believe reverse plogy plays a BIG part in trading
One things for sure that the masses drop money in gambling. And the couple that do become successful will tell you they've blown several acounts along the way. So what are these successful traders doing? Well the contrary to what the masses are doing! But throw in years of screen time and studying what the successful are doing. There are some trading analytics on this forum that work definitely but it's down to the trader then to work the egy. and self disciplne are key to becoming successful!

    You have nailed it!

After a chance viewing of this episode; I chose to apply the concept to trading. It worked. I am a millionaire. I have a mansion....and a yacht!
