Thread: Pip by pip - my trading journal

I have decided that this is going to be my diary of FX trading for lots of reasons, but mainly so that I have more discipline and hopefully get opinions from the great neighborhood of FX traders here as I start this journey.

Many pips in your journey to success

My first aim in trading FX with this journal will be to achieve 50 pips (not all in one move perhaps, although that would be fine )

One egy I'll be using for quick timeframes (15 mins 30 mins) is a combination of EMA's and Stochastics to indie trends and overbought marketed areas.

I be mainly focusing on these pairs:
GBP/USD
EUR/USD
USD/JPY
AUD/USD
(but when significant trends develop, I'll look at over related crosses)

I reside in Melbourne, Australia so that the time is 10 GMT (in the moment it is 11 due to daylight savings)

More thoughts later...

My experience tells me your timeframes are too brief, look at H1 H4 for trend, but look at M5, M15 M30 to check in trading the drops...

Might have closed a modest late/early. . Who knows but this was a biggish move in a very short period of time rather than slowly moving up, so I thought I'd shut it take the pips - I could always re input afterwards.
