Josh's Trades
This may comprise trades I carry on daily and weekly timeframes (and sometimes 1/4hr). My reasons for beginning :

- Accountability. I take some transactions I should not and I want to quit doing this. Maybe if I understand I have to place it for the entire world to see, I will learn quicker.
- To get my transactions organized in one place. I will be taking trades with Price Action. There are a number of things I've altered but nothing major. More simply incorporating PA..

I do not plan to perform a whole lot of dialogue here. This will be to simply show my trade(s), explain why I took it, what happened, etc.. Rather, please don't hesitate to email or PM me with any comments or suggestions you might have. I'd love to keep this thread as clean and focused as you can.

At this stage in my trading, I have studied J16's thread and price action in general for over 15 months. I demoed for 3 mos on d/w charts. Then endure for 6 mos on d/w. Also 2 mos of 4hr demo, and one month of live 4hr. 4months of demo 5min (e/u only) with BB, RSI(6 ) ), and PA and now a few months of live 5min.

I will become profitable in the trading. I'll work at this as long as it takes. I'll use trading to fulfill the vision I have in my entire life. Trading is a means to an end for me. It is not the endresult.

Technically, a BUOB. We've been sitting on this level for some time now and have experienced pinbar shaped bars that the previous two weeks.
I took this transaction on demonion as I was not around at all to manage.

Stop moved to 1.5280, under today's (4-9-10) low.

I took this transaction much more as a breakout than a strict standards to get a pinbar. Each of the last three days have caused a testing of 1.5150 and then rejecting it, and closing close to the afternoon highs. Entered at 1.53 and watched carefully to see how price reacted on today's break. Following some sideways movement, we broke out bigger, to precisely the place I marked.

Cease moved to 1.5280, under today's (4-9-10) low. Made a decision to lose this one. Not near as strong a move as others and it's just sat near the entry/drawdown the previous 36 hours.

I entered this daily pinbar off a retracement on the 4hr. It was not a great looking pinbar on the 4hr, but it was at a fantastic loion.
1/2 off at 0.7103, cease to be. Nearly stopped out before we finally have created new highs. Update 4-11-10: 1/4 off at 0.72136

I took this trade more as a breakout than a strict criteria to get a pinbar. Every one of the previous three days have caused a screening of 1.5150 and then rejecting it, and closing near the day highs. Entered at 1.53 and watched carefully to see how price reacted on the break. Following some sideways movement, we broke out bigger, to precisely the place I marked.

1/2 off at 1.5364, stop to b/e. G/U Update 4/11/10: 1/4 off at 1.54474


I entered this daily pinbar off a retracement on the 4hr. It was not an excellent looking pinbar on the 4hr, but it was at a fantastic loion.
1/2 off at 0.7103, stop to be. Virtually stopped out earlier we finally have created new highs. N/Cad Update 4/11/10: 1/8 off at 0.72136

I took this transaction more as a breakout than as a rigorous criteria for a pinbar. Each of the last 3 days have caused a screening of 1.5150 and then rejecting it, and final near the day highs. Entered at 1.53 and watched carefully to see how price responded on the break. Following some sideways motion, we broke out higher, to exactly the place I researched.

1/2 off at 1.5364, cease to b/e. Exited final portion of position with this yesterday. Benefit of 0.49R overall.

I entered this daily pinbar off a retracement on the 4hr. It was not an excellent looking pinbar about the 4hr, but it was in a fantastic loion.
1/2 off in 0.7103, stop to be. Virtually stopped out before we finally have made new highs. Stopped from staying 1/4 of position early this AM. I'm pretty happy about how I handled this trade. I took some off in the top trendline, which proved to be a huge stumbling block. I removed risk early on in this trade. I was mindful that I wasn't trading with the tendency, which can prove fatal without tight management on the greater tf.

Overall, profit of 1.45% over the trade.

Entered this BEOB with expectations of a retry at 0.7000. Broke the pub and nipped my stop order to input, then retrace/sat.
I dropped 1/2 of this position on the rest of yesterday's high (0.7115). Holding 1/2 for today but will look to depart well before a full bar reduction.

Entered this BEOB with expectations of a retry at 0.7000. Broke the bar and nipped my stop order to enter, then retrace/sat.
I fell 1/2 of the place on the rest of yesterday's large (0.7115). Holding 1/2 for now but will seem to leave nicely before a complete bar reduction. Exited the staying today at 0.7177 (50/61 FIB collapse )

Entered this today on the rest of this BEOB at 5.8702.

Cease above today's high and major PPZ/BRN (5.90) at 5.9100.

A bit over 1/2 profit shot at BRN/PPZ/first trouble zone, 5.85592.

This pair has such a broad spread. Makes it very inefficient to trade. Spread was 30pips nearly all of London, which was fine. But ballooned to 100 pips (20 percent of the stop) after US close. Currently 60pips as we anticipate Asia open.

Entered this now on the break of the BEOB at 5.8702.

Cease above today's large and major PPZ/BRN (5.90) at 5.9100.

A bit over 1/2 profit taken at BRN/PPZ/first difficulty zone, 5.85592.

This pair has such a wide spread. Makes it rather ineffective to trade. Spread was 30pips most of London, which was alright. But ballooned to 100 pips (20 percent of my stop) later US close. Currently 60pips because we anticipate Asia open. Cut the remaining when we conducted via 5.9RN. (Spread was 20 most of morning). This transaction was managed perfectly. Took some off initially trouble area/BRN, and let staying work, with cease tucked behind BRN.

Will be seeing 1.2545ish, the very first issue place. Price did indeed move into the very first trouble region but then fell back into 1.25. I had moved my stop to b/e and has been taken out.

Continuation BEOB. Nice that the large broke the previous two highs after which we closed in the previous lows. A few compliments, but once we had been stopped into the commerce, it ran really well right through first issue place. Trade stuffed at 3:02am local time, until I ended up.

Cease to b/e now and will watch if we could break through 82.00.

Briefly bankrupt through 82, but then came up and stopped out me within two hours.
