This thread is simply for everyone who wants to come and vent for an operation that went wrong. You just need to read the following: Grant me serenity to accept what I cannot change, Courage to change what I can, and wisdom to recognize the difference.

Today I went in long in EUR/USD just before the inflation data... and boom, it exploded in my face. It didn’t even give me time to move the SL. Serenity? I’m looking for it among the remains of my account. Sometimes the best thing you can do is close the platform and yell at it in the air.

I ate a fake breakout in GBP/JPY. Everything painted perfect, clean pattern, volume accompanying... and zes, 180° turn. The serenity is overrated. What I need is a time machine to not have touched the mouse.

Confession: I skipped my system for “intuition” and lost half a month of profit. Morale: if you have rules, follow them. If not, the market will remind you... to lashes.

Today the SL took me out for 2 pips and then the price flew to my TP. I stayed with sad emoji face for hours. The worst thing is that I know I did everything right. Sometimes that’s not enough, and it’s time to accept it without going crazy.

Does anyone else feel that the market is waiting for you to come in to do the opposite? Because I do. I don’t know if I’m operating or being part of a psychological experiment anymore.

My operation in USD/CHF looked like a work of art... until Wall Street arrived at 15:30. They didn't respect anything, nor supports, nor lines, nor me. I'm thinking of operating backwards: if I see buying, I put in sales.

I manually closed a winning operation because I “feeled” it was going to turn around. It didn’t. It came to the TP without looking back. Next time I’ll rely more on my plan than on my emotions.

I had to operate with a cold head, but I operated with a hot ego. Result: Burned account. It’s amazing how a single bad decision can erase weeks of discipline.

Today I broke a winning streak for forcing a ticket. There was no setup, but I wanted to continue “on a streak.” I forgot that this is not a casino. It’s not about having luck, but being patient.

I confess I laughed at the one who said Monday was the worst day to operate. I lost three operations in a row today. I don’t know if it was the market or my arrogance. I guess both.

Today I operated angry. Bad personal day, but I wanted to operate the same. Bad idea. I didn’t see the mistakes until it was late. Now all I have left is to write this and remind me: if you’re not okay, don’t operate.

I swore not to touch exotic pairs... but the spread was “low” and tempted me. Result: an 80-pipe SL and a gold brooch to my stupidity. Thank you USD/TRY, for your lesson in humility!

Sometimes I think serenity is like the stop loss: everyone mentions it, few use it well. I used it today not to throw the keyboard out the window, so I guess something is something.

I started chasing the price. I thought, “Just a few more pipes, come in now.” He came in... and he went against me. I learned that the market doesn’t reward despair, just patience.

I operated gold without fixed spread and without coffee. Two fatal errors. My serenity went on the first candle of 30 pips against. I will never underestimate the importance of being awake again.

I am proud of something: today I lost, but I did not modify my plan. It seems little, but to me it is a brutal advance. I react less and analyze more.

The price crossed my entrance, did not execute it and went straight to the target. I did not win or lose. I took it as a sign of the universe: sometimes, doing nothing is also operating well.

Today I left an open operation with the mobile phone, in the transport. Never again. A news was activated and when I wanted to close, it was late. Morale: the mobile is to look, not to execute.

Actually, this thread should be called “Confessions of an Emotional Trader.” Thank you for creating it. It makes me feel less alone in this market madness.
