By the latest G7 meeting I recall this comments from ECB president carry trades: This trades aren't appropriate
Now I discovered the following interesting news on bloomberg:
Hidenao Nakagawa, secretary-general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, told reporters on Feb. 16 that the central bank should make anâ€appropriate choice.â€
USD/YEN rally is finished?
Using a 18% drop in EU exports to Japan, are there possibility of ECB to market the Euro vs yen?
Will BOJ send a strong message to carry traders to exit their trades at this stage? Before beginning a cycle of rate increases.
And eventually may we consider the Yen carry trades a (Game Over)?
