However, I think what is missing from most I've observed is LOGIC. I browse a lot of systems onnigeriaforextradingand other boards, and I'm fairly curious, do people just randomly add indiors and pray to the gods of Forex??
So from Ryan Jones's publiion, I'd love to quote a few lines he says about trading systems:
[Last of all, simple is better... The more complied, the less I like it. Simple is easy to understand and simple to change. Not only is there much less programming code to manage, but the machine is less likely to be conformed to the information...]
1. Make sure that the body of logic is connected to what you are attempting to achieve.
2. Make sure the figures are in place and meet the minimal requirements.
3. Make sure the logic of exits and these entries relate to this target you are attempting to achieve.
4. Make sure that the method is as simple as possible to capture the logic.
I've tried in everything I've presented on this plank, to conform to logic. I strongly encourage everyone else to do the same.
