Will the market now eventually start concentrating on the increasing current account deficit of the US? The last time I checked, it was at about $8 trillion, which will be roughly 70% of the GDP. I certainly believe this is going to come into play pretty soon. This could lead to a massive downward spiral, where foreign investors start pulling from the US, which would in turn, negatively affect the economy creating a dangerous cycle. (a textbook instance of reflexivity in the office ) Or am I crazy?
