I'm getting Close to giving up on the idea of having this coded in MT so as to expose it to the masses.

I need someone to convert this to MT# format from VTT.

ICCE: Is directly Related to The Fib approach.

Intake,
Compression,
Combustion,
Exhaust.


Why? 'cuse it appears to work.

Premis;
Upon Overview of Conventional Fibs...
There seems to be regular disturbance between 47 53%. actuals are 46.55% 53.44%
That is Historical provides me no benifit.
BUT. . .WHAT IF...

The Current or latest Horizontal Channel will gradually become Historical 47 - 53 Fibs?
I Could use...


Let's use 47 53 as an indiion of Future Future PA..

FIND A HORIZONTAL CHANNEL
Run Algs that Assume the Top of Said Channel is 53% on a Fib Scale
Run Algs that Assume the Bottom of Said Channel is 47 percent on a Fib Scale

Plot All Horizontal Fibs that fit the preceding Algs.

Someone: Please code this in MT speech and if you have any queries, I have some answers.

Straightforward:
105.00 - 100.00 = 5.00 that is Also = to 5 percent. 52% - 47%
If 5 percent = 5.00 Pips,
Then 1 percent = 1 Pip.

Then 62 percent = 105.00 10. Or 115.00

I really can understand why this can be perplexing to most but it does make sense if you get there.

No particular Pair no particular price but IF;

47 percent = 100.00

52 percent = 105.00
THEN
62% = The Price Value of 52% an Additional 10%.

A buddy of mine told me he got that line from a man who shares shares. I never researched it, just threw it on my own fib instrument and whaddaya know? Price bounces frequently.

That's why I was not overly concerned about if it was calculated @ 47.21 or even 47.22.
The Actuals are 47.2136 52.7864 The core range worth I spoke of are price ranges. Cobra interpreted a different high and low price for the (roughly) 47-53 range, nevertheless we ended up using the same fib expansion values.

Not sure how you decided on where 47 52 should autumn but here is what I am trying to get to.

Throughout the Doldrums of small PA Horizontal Channel I want the advantage of having a notion Where PA MIGHT go when it breaks.
I do this on a different platform that I researched this Ind in by:
1) Recognise a Horiz Channel.
2) Assume that the Horiz Channel WILL BE included within 47 52 percent of PA Later on.

It is rather like identifying PPZ's that have to be established.

Really I only permit you to go into the top for the value you need (52.78) and the bottom for the value you need (47.22) defaults. And then the rest is computed by it. It permits up to 11 fibs to be drawn off of your entries.

Bill They aren't missing on my ibfx chart.

There is a text offset you can adjust in the input window, which corresponds to the amount of bars to the left of the current bar you want the text to start from. Increase that amount. If someone else know of a better way to set the left value for the text, feel free to change the code. Or let me know and I will do it.

I did something a bit different with this indi. I put all the logic in the init function instead of the start function. The main reason I did so is to drastically reduce CPU usage. The indi only needs to draw the lines and the init function only gets executed once when the indi is loaded. The start function on the other hand gets executed with each new tick that comes in, so if it's not essential to alter the indi on every tick this saves cpu large time.

Even if you change stuff a wreck up the indi, simply download a fresh copy from this forum and begin messing with it again.

Do you need the written classes for MT4 programming? They are on this forum, I will track them down for you if you want.

Look under the Tools tab for the editor.

Occasionally you have spikes and I think those should not be taken in account. That's the way I see it. This is currently the way I'm using Scott's indior. I first pull up a line chart, and then recognize the channel together with horizontal lines (first chart).

Then I open the indior and put the top and bottom values out of my horizontal lines and switch the chart back to candlesticks (second chart).

Why do you use Positive Negative 0.0278 since the Level Input? Those are the gaps between the middle line and the 47 53 fibs. Then I can place the 0 line at the middle of the range, and adjust until 47 53 fit the high and low.

Looks like fib extensions could be useful. It is possible to change any of the fibs to an expansion if you wish to. The extension will be calculated correctly by it, just like the tool will.

Concerning the gbpusd daily chart you submitted. I am gonna say down and take a stab. If you visit the Weekly chart it followed the channel for over a year in 2000-2001.

I do not need to test it without understanding. Change any of those fibs to any value you need and then simply select none colour for the ones you're not using. You can also alter the colour of every fib.

One thing I noticed is that once you've entered low and the high, you can change them by drop and drag, but if you change TF it moves back to those first entry worth. Them, can manually change. Just an observation (hint hint).

No biggie, can manually alter them. Just an observation (hint hint). I haven't figured out how to make it ignore the external inputs once you change frames. open the input window and the only thing I could suggest would be to drag your traces in which you need them and enter the new values , if you're planning to change time frames a lot and need it to remain on the values.

Hey Bill, I decided to see what could happen if I combined Gann 1/8ths and your 53 47 split. I then applied the range to the channel that always forms on the EURUSD at approximately 22:00 to 24:00 GMT

Scott, I had another interpretation of this range to use, therefore ended up with different fibs than your final chart. In both cases a vital level was attained by PA. I guess that's the art here to set what the core range is.

I've some amazing results.

Here are a few charts, but honestly I got tired taking screen shots. Where the results were not amazing, I never seen an instance. Hey Scott, Iwrote this ind in VTT ~ 3 decades back and published it there but no-one seemed to ch on. That is why I went through all that hassle 'using a bit of help from my friends a week to load MT4 learn how to import Inds etc..

Pretty amazing stuff in there isn't there.
I anticipate it'll be availble @ k.lik within a week or so but it better be free.

It is Important to Watch the PA as it approaches the levels. That will be your best clue as to rejection or breakthrough.
