thank you so much for looking out!!! Is there a magic way to convert this supdem ex4? You won't have the ability to view lower TF's compared to one you're on. In the event that you don't have history for a specific tf it may fall a range out of range, switch to current and back to desirable after a few moments and it will get the job done.

First some disclaimers:My MQL4 programming expertise is limited to cannibalizing bits and bits of other peoples' code to be used in my own little indiors. That has worked for the past 5 decades. I have not researched C/C , that I know is comparable to MQL5. The language I had been proficient in was Tradestation's EasyLanguage back in the afternoon. I am attempting to receive my head also need assistance to convert the attached sample MQL4 indior into MQL5 in the learning procedure as a starting point for me personally.

All the indior does is the following:print the number of minutes of every timeframe in the top left hand corner of the chart e.g. in the Daily chart it will publish 1440, in the H4 chart 240 etc etc. print a random historical reference price in the bottom left corner of the chart for the currency pair I am looking at. E.g. for USDJPY it'll publish 100, for EURUSD 1.2000. These levels are already arbitrarily fixed in the body of the code , so there is no calculation. Overall, a fairly dumb (but little and easy ) indior I have cooked up. But it's my very first tiny step in understanding MQL5.


The code compiles easily in the latest MT4 updates. I need a working variant that compiles error-free and if at all possible , well.

Yes I know there are better means of learning a new vocabulary, but would love you could just humor me along with my own humble request!
