% - movement indicator

Good morning,

I am searching for an indior that would demonstrate the price movement in percent from the available (00:00GMT - or manual input), e.g.: today's available on cable is 1.4269 and we're currently at 1.4160 (-109 pips or ~-0.75% over daily ).

Has anyone such an ind. or could write one without much attempt for metatrader?

daytrading You have to have in% or an easy range indior is going to do the job? Im using ranges all of the time as it is required data to know according to my trading procedure.

No, I would need exactly what I asked for - I do have a range indior (Hi/Lo, daily), which isn't much help I'm afraid.

daytrading I'll write it for you no matter. Do you desire a display for a histogram, or line in a separate window at the base or just a text displayed on the chart of their running percent? Either way is no issue, let me know you want it. I will set this up, which means you can choose which way you want the calc. Start as an open on the day/ time interval or a override for manual entry.

I will write it when you let me know on the display.

What I would like is that a (small) amount in the upper corner (left or right) of the chart telling me the motion in% by the open (that ought to really be 00:00 GMT or manual input based on the platform loion - since some platforms count the beginning of the day by GMT plus or minus).

It is a struggle to approximate this manually all of the time, hahaha.

Allow me to know if you can/want to perform it.

Daytrading - may I ask how you are utilizing this information, please - as a warning to not enter beyond a certain% movement or maybe to trade the strongest / weakest pairs (and that's the way I used to utilize this information, but maybe not at present as I'm just trading EC and DAX intraday)?

I'm using it as a second means for transaction direction - e.g. when I have a particular proportion of my account alloed because of my daily risk, I utilize the indior for gauging the chance of averaging a transaction.

Also, I'm trying to collect some information regarding% spikes and stretches from given points in time (that does not always have to be midnight GMT since the ind. permits manual time enter )

If you are about and have timecould you have a look if there is a means to have multiple of your indiors on a open chart?

I need like to display in the same time that the daily% change, underneath the weekly% change and ultimately the monthly % change.

At the moment, I have to start your indior and manually input the price for any additional time period than daily - which is nice but I can only place the ind. onto a chart once, it will not allow me to place on a few of these (like MA's for example).

You hav it in the wrong place.

Rescue the indior from the thread on your computer

near your MT4 platform.

Go into program files and double click on your MT4 app, click on experts and then click on indiors.

Eventually, drag the indior file inside that indior folder.

Open your MT4 platform and find the ind. in'custom indiors'

You can selected corner for the text place,
you can change color(take a note that colors change automaticaly
according to percent....pos or neg), and it shows D,W,M TFs.
