Has anyone attempted's training? If so, do you recommend it? I'm feeling the need to find some mentoring. I have been reading a lot of the recommended books and articles here but I'm really seeing my trading get worse not better for this attempt. So maybe time to try out something new.

I have worked through High Definition Coaching, Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom, Trading in the Zone, Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques and a Lot of online material. All this instruction is making me a worse trader!

Interesting read. . I found it interesting too, though I believed there were points where she would choose a well-known sex cliche, loe something vaguely similar in trading, and then attempt to prove a connection. (e.g. Premature profit can leave your trading account unfulfilled.)

I particularly enjoyed this comment: Bragging is the surest way to tell people you are a loser. Bragging is the companion to dream. Fantasy is when you're too scared to take action. Bragging is when you're too scared to admit that you haven't done it. Individuals who talk big all the time are standing right at the threshold of their dre, but not crossing it over.
I believe that's probably true with a lot of wannabe traders.

If you are new to Forex, Rob is great! My son is taking his 1 on 1 course at this time and our whole staff is excited about visiting one of his classes as a staff.

I have coresponded with him and find him to be honest as well as being a laugh riot to read his stuff. His prices are also some of the very reasonable values on the web.

He visits this forum from time to time. I would suggest you read his posts and also read the free pdf's in his site (http://robbooker.com/) Do you still recommend him?

Haven't had his coaching, but I did just read his new novel--Adventures of a Currency Trader. Excellent book. I sent him my review of it and he had been kind enough to email me back. From all I have read, he is among those great men out there.

My friend took his coaching. If you're looking to learn technical analysis, he is not the guy, but if you're looking to learn market plogy and discipline, he's fantastic. Do not look forward to learning how to create a system or so out of him. He will prepare you mentally very well though.

Rob is great and a superb place to get started. You will learn a lot and Back evaluation, Back evaluation, Back evaluation. His goal is conservative pips at a sound manner which is logical. I highly suggest it.

WARNING.

I have had a very bad experience with Rob Bookers TFL365 subscription program. The one a day videos dried up entirely daily 122. Then started after a while from number one again with another format. Then at number 26 they dried up because he was encouraging a course with his own girlfriend. I asked for a refund and he has refused. Its a pity as the content and dediion started out alright then dried up like he had given up or has been diverted. The live TV stopped, the videos ceased and also the trae recommendations stopped.

Anyhow, poor service. Given that there's much better out there I suggest loing an alternate.

Huh? So there is no refund choice? How much did you pay for the course? And why don't you file a formal complaint..anyway hope you get your $$$ back

Hello, I think I paid like 365 euros, I sent Rob and email directly, he said that tomorrow I will post 5 videos which never arrived even a week after. I emailed again and that he isn't replying. So half a course and no daily Coffee and charts take a look at the technicals for your day. Real shame when folks give up on supplying the service which dedie buddies, once hoping to learn and grow daily have compensated for.

But maybe Im the only one which lasted long on Robs course, it was 10 minutes per day of drivel, obsolete systems and pbable. It was like I was his plogist, and he need to speak to someone about things. I wonder if anyone else feels the identical way?

Never heard about Rob Booker. But if you considering price action trading, Ichimoku trading additional PA established trading I want to indie Chris Capre for you. Because I completed few courses under him. Google 2ndskilesforex. Hopefully you can get to know more about him and you will find loads of free articles, videos, analysis other materials on the market.

P.S- Do your own analysis before proceed with a course.

Well, consider yourself blessed. . I have burnt for a lot more, as I started out in the currency market. And yeah, the course in question was a total wipe out.
Wish I had something better to include here..at this point, all you can do is file a report with the authorities. Just googled the title and the scam reviews are recorded in full..please check before choosing for any additional course.

Rob Booker is a FX convention entertainer, a FX marketer and that he isn't a successful trader. I can state this from lots of personal experience: I attended two of his seminars, co-taught another one with him in Canada, and am mentioned in his publiion. Once Rob held a competition to see who could submit the most profitable system. A guy wrote an elaborate description of a winning system and filed it, knowing full well that it was a system that was a guaranteed loser. Rob awarded him first place, lol, and never tested the machine! Rob makes nearly all his (big) money from selling systems-of-the-month (stuff you can easily find online.) He hasn't been seen onnigeriaforextradingsince professional trader Phil McGrew (look him up here --his articles are gold) made him his buddy and would talk the truth whenever Rob would place. Stay away from this clown.

search for a mentor who is a true trader not a marketer....There is only one way to know ask him/her for personal history and if not available....do not pay a dime.... I also were on the lookout for a great mentor in Fx but did not discover that I need. Maximum are marketer even though they have great trading understanding but they are not professional trader that I need. If you found please notify me. With no great mentor it is quite difficult to survive in this volatile trading area.

quote I happen to be looking for a wonderful mentor in Fx but didnt find that I want. Maximum are marketer despite the fact that they have good trading understanding but they aren't professional trader which I need. If you found please notify me. With no fantastic mentor it is fairly difficult to survive in this volatile trading place. In Forum neighborhood you could not loe a professional mentor that you are looking for. According to me, Chris Capre is good. I am not suggesting you to follow him but you can try. I always attempt to follow his schooling when trading practically.

Rob Booker is a Currency Market seminar entertainer, a Currency Market marketer and that he is not a successful trader.... Interesting. Rob is one high-profile Currency Market 'guru' I have been loosely following for several years, and he seems to flit from system to system. By way of example, a couple of years back he was really enthusiastic about a system that he called the Hopper (that was little more than a MACD crossover) that he had been touting with his ladyfriend Jennifer Thornburg (who enjoys to write articles regarding http://jennifer.bz/yos/?p=1158, btw). More lately Rob's been encouraging EAs, including some that take profit quickly while enabling floating losses. Given all of this, I have never bought anything he's been supplying, and I have found it difficult to take him completely seriously.

Yet curiously, Chapter 3 in Boris and Kathy's book https://www.amazon.com/Millionaire-Traders-Everyday-People-Beating/dp/0470452544 (printed in 2007) features an interview with none other than the exact same Mr Booker, the 100 pip trader (in less than five years, he's gone from being a $2,500 trader to a customer of a major bank who trades a decent size account -- see p37). Assuming that BK conducted some background research prior to selecting their interviewees, then becoming the subject of such a novel generates the impression that Rob has in fact created a 7 figure amount from trading. Hence I do not know what to make of it all.

Incidentally, I recall Phil McGrew in my early days here (c. 2007). He was very edued. If there was a MT4 version of his 'Currensys' system, I probably could have bought it.

I've also read the book. I do not understand what he's selling rather than considering it.
It is possible he might have been profitable, under the market conditions back then (2002-2007)

Since 2009 I think there was a surge from the HFT programmers and capital, thus compressing volatility and squeezing out scalping profit margins.

Thus making trading like every other highly-skilled profession - if you do not evolve with the changing environment, your skills get obsolete.

I try to follow his schooling when investing practically. How funny! I ask for all newcomers. Please do not follow a mentor or guru. This unpredictable market doesn't follow at any things. It always moves based on its own trend. So just depend on you , your trading knowledge and discipline. And keep a propensity to go by a very long epoch in here.
