I recently discovered and would suggest to everyone who is seriously interested in learning how to trade, some significant instruction.

http://firstbusinessmooc.org/wall-street/ course. Excellent for everyone, incl. beginners. It begins from explaining what a stock is or key economics indiors. Every trader should understand. A good refresher if you understand already.
https://www.coursera.org/course/financialmarkets. Goes deeper to comprehend for exampe a math behind asset alloion units or behavioral finance. Note that what we see on charts is your outcome.
https://www.coursera.org/course/intropsych. If you want to understand human behavior, also from the markets.
Effort required is generally 2-5 hours per week and courses last 3-6 weeks each.
Some have just begun, so you may want to sign up NOW, but even later you will probably have the ability to learn from the course record.
To be clear, these courses are not supplying a holy grail trading system, but if you are seriously interested in trading, I believe they give excellent background. To understnd how the markets work.
