I have source code for an EA. How do I use it in MT4?

Can someone help me to learn everything to do with Source Code
to make it operate in MT4?

It's an EA

The author ran it and backtested it.
It's Complimentary

However they supplied Sotce Code only

No EX4 document

What do I do with all the source code?

Others who see and use the above EX4 and NQ4 files please note:

I didn't author the source code to those in rhose documents. Name appears only since they were compiled
for a favor for me.

Of course, the original source code will look when you open the mq4 in the taeditor.

Copy the file into your MT4/Experts folder
Open it with Metaeditor
Press F5 to compile it.
It will now be there as an .ex4 file
Click the expert advisors button in Metatrader to enable EA.s
Drag the file from Navigator/expert advisors on the chart that you would like it on

I neglected to explain fully about how the source code looks...

It is not an EX4 nor document.

Iy was submitted on a website an looked the same as a text document.

I copy it and pasted it from the Editor in 4. Nothing occurred although I clicked compile. I couldn't loe an EX4 file after that.

In the event you clicked compile something must have happened!
Either it is a good record and compiled ok or it compiled with errors that would have been shown in Metaeditor

Then the document is someplace but a challenge for me to loe it.

I think I will creat a folder to get it and try again. I didn't have a folder designated the first time to get the compiled file to be set in.

Silly mistake. But this the 1st time I have completed this task.

Well, I copied the source code in to my clipboard and
I opened the taeditor,

I couldn't find a blank webpage to paste the code .

When I clicked on the icon for New the Wizard began,
That requires choosing a bunch of things I don't know.

I've attached the link to the EA Source Code if anybody cares to see precisely
what's been supplid from the author.

I don't have any idea on what to do with it to find the EX4 file.

What do I do with all the source code? If you're running windows 7/Vista you should install mt4 outside your'c:/Program Files/' folder for set up indiors and EAs to operate without problems.
