Hi guys.

I attempted to finance my new OANDA account for the forst time 4 or 5 days ago via a wire transfer using y online banking facility

Just how long does it typically take?
Will it be faster the next time I fund the account?
AlsoI was under the impression from their site that there isn't any charge for this but I have since heard of people being charge around $30 on a $250 deposit. Is that the situation?

cheers.

Thanks for replying.

Funnily enough my account had been financed about an hour ago. I've made 60 pips (roughly #5 profits lol). Im betting tiny stakes to learn the principles.

Wow..they charge you for taking your money out aswell? That's not cool. #30 or 30 dollars?

Oanda merely charges on deposits, not on withdrawals. If you paid a fee on deposit, that is for the bank. Watch the oanda website. You can withdraw for free by check.

Thanks for Responding.

Wow..they bill you for taking out your money aswell? That is not cool. #30 or 30 dollars? I trade with Oanda. There's wiring fee for sending money in any event. When I deposit I cover my bank, once I withdraw I cover Oanda's wiring fee.

I've got a newly opened account with Oanda. When I deposited, I have billed by my local bank and also there was an extra fee from Oanda's bank (for a total of $25).

I know it costs much more to do a withdrawal if you are not based in america.

I know it costs even more to perform a withdrawal if you're not loed in the usa. If you're loed in Europe you won't have to pay anything for deposits, neither in your local bank nor in Oanda.

Thanks for the replys guys.

Its a pity regarding the withdrawal fee, though I dont appear to have already been charged anything to get my deposit.

I've somehow managed to make about 250 pips considering opening my account ! But at TINY stakes that so much wont cover the fee I will be charged when I make a withdrawal https://www.nigeriaforextrading.com/attachments/1528371006.jpg

took a lengthy overnight on the GBP/JPY 210.60 using a halt at 210.30 and closed it a minute back at 212. Hmmm....might even start a jornal if I could be bothered, to record my own trades at this stage.

Thanks and good luck guys

Should you move cash in Europe, and in Euro, you can apply for shared costs according to IBAN / SWIFT transfer. The price that is shared means costs that are low. Oanda does charge you something like 30 to withdraw cash from your account.

Wireing cash is the very best and cheapest option (at least in Europe and Euro).
