Thread: MT4 News Calendar Indicator

I am new to this calendar thread so please excuse me if some questions have been covered. I downloaded the FFC file. Seems to work nicely, but I was wondering whether there was a means for it to display lines?

no certain about FFC, I don't use it but 108a does from downloading from the first post.

Thanks Phil. Got that part. The problem I'm having now is that the lines coincide with the timezone out of FF rather than out of my broker. How can this be adjusted?

Hello Madinvestor

is the clock on the 108a window right? When it is it should be putting the vertical lines in your time zone, which is right time for the news event timing, the broker time may differ from the real time zone, mine does by two hours so 108a adjusts to my own period not the broker time or the news event lines will be out of sync.

Perhaps this has caused some confusion as it automatically adjusts.

Okay I think I get it now. I got rid of FFC and started utilizing the NewsCal-v108a. It seems to work nicely. It is correcting the lines to where they need to fall according to my broker's clock. That is what I desired in FFC, it places the vertical lines according to your computer time zone but not the broker time zone. That results in the lines to fall in the wrong location on the platform chart. Luckily, this is not the case now. Thank you for your help.

no problem have been using this calendar because'euclid' was kind enough to first post this at no cost.

Yes, 108a can have battles with other news calendars even previous versions still being set up.

You are able to clean the'cache' in the base of this'common' tab that will eradicate a lot of issues also as there may be some documents in there from from the other calendar as well.

maybe you do not have the different effect news set to'true' and/or the currencies set to'all of'???




here is my calendar to compare, but I have the very low effect news not revealing (set to false), so yours should show different events also.

ADDED... also it could be the look forward, look back or events settings for showing the news in the'input' tab as well.

Does anybody know how to get the audio to work? I have the alarm settings on (and I believe that they are on by default) but it does not make any noise prior to news
