Thread: iCustom for EAs?

Is there any purpose similar to iCustom that lets one EA to use the purposes of another?

You can use the #import to bring from a compiled ex4 file's performance. It will then appear from the experts folder When it does not find the file from the folder that is indiors.

I did some studying about the #import function and--as I understand it--I want to know the underlying source code.

Imagine if I don't have the source code? What if I only have the .ex4 file, and understand exactly the inputs, and what it will.

Like the swiss army EA (attached), for instance.

I'm attempting to get my EAs to use the swiss army EA to calculate stops/takeprofits/trailingstops/hedges/etc. Without having to join the swiss army EA to a chart.

Not sure how you could do it without the original source code so you can see what functions you want to call. Icustom makes it very great to pull data from indiors but it won't work with ea's. Maybe someone else can chime in and help.

Is not that sort of taking a small risk when you don't have the source code?

Not when you know the EA works.
