To be honest to your broker you need to speak to them first and document your signs. I have been with IBFX (a provider often slammed here at FF) for several years and they have constantly cleared up any problems I had with them except a time. When they did not, I recorded the signs and posted it here at FF. Even though they would never admit to what was going on the clinic ended after that. Take some time to talk to your broker, the majority of men and women dont understand the price a company spends to receive a customer along with the endeavor to maintain them. During this period of FIFO many of these overseas companies are trying quite hard to pick up customers and they wish to repay any issues quickly. So document your complaint, make it clear and simple to understand, talk to your broker, then if you cant receive any gratifiion visit http://www.forexpeacearmy.com they assist traders with complaints and the legal procedure. Then after all that it is possible to return and tell us all about your issues here on FF. FXCM is in the business of getting and keeping customers. I am sure they wish to assist you solve any problems. Just some advice.

I recently begun trading with FXCM UK because my IBFX doesn't let me enter straddle orders any longer due to the new rules. As my egy calls for this kind of entrance and I was fed up with entering order in 2 separate accounts at IBFX I decided to open up the new account.

Although I am not having any problems with execution it's been a pain dealing with them.

And now I see that I can't close partial positions. When I chatted with somebody there on the internet they were utterly rude.

Of course there are work arounds but I can't understand the problem and why they deal this way.

    Anyway...

Nanningbob has excellent suggestions and FXCM would definitely like to solve any issues which could be occuring. We'll do everything in our power to help solve technical issues, and when a technical issue on the side affects your trading we can perform a trade audit. FSA regulations for FXCM UK require us to start an audit instance anytime a client asks about trade execution (even if you inform us you don't want an audit we are required to open a single ).

And to Naresh, we're happy to have your business and impolite chat support is not something which we wish to tolerate. Should you email/private message me, I can see that it is addressed.

Hello, I'd love to talk with you a very bothersome and disturbing experience.
I have been trading with FXCM for 10 months and had several times a delay difficulty between the click to execute an order and the real implementation of the order. However it was awful but never as bad as today (8 Sep 09)
I was doing great on the demo account and since there has been sometimes a delay of several minutes to get the order processed I have lost 20 percent of my account.
My internet connection was functioning flawlessly and was even able to watch videos on Youtube. I was even hard connected to the ethernet port.
Due to that reason, I have decided to CLOSE my live account with FXCM since I wouldn't bare to see my profit disappeared stupidly.
I am currently looking for another fast broker with low spread. Could you please allow me to know of any good broker using a simple interface to place orders.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi don choa,

I assessed with client services and didn't observe any reported technical issues with MT4 today. The website http://www.fxstatus.com will also be upgraded anytime we are experiencing technical issues. However, I can still have this looked into for you as our documents keep an eye on processing time for orders in which case we can open a trade audit. Please feel free to contact me by private message or emailaddress.

Just a side note, you should never be investing in a lot size at which you could lose 20% of your own account in a couple of minutes. You're inviting astrophe, there are just too many factors to risk trading that large of a portion of an account if you don't use account dimensions as your closing stop loss. By way of instance, you might have 10,000 dollars in an account and trade 1 dollar lots or you can get 200 dollars in your account and trade 1 dollar lots. Your stop loss is the 200 dollars and you also maintain your additional 9800 secure in your bank. That could be the only logical reason to trade that way. Just a thought.

    Hello,
Thank you for your concern. What make you say I used 1 lot size risking 20pct of my account. I placed many orders and that I was making profits. I tried to close my rankings but was unable to do so. And when I was gone through by the execution was loosing money. The response time of this platform came back to normal so that I placed other orders simply to see it again fail to open and close place, limit and stop orders in due time.
If you believe this happening on maybe 5 to 10 trades, it is very easy to lose 20pct of your account.

Additionally Don, if you want to talk about how to read the logs or anything else to do with maintaining records, then you'd be best to PM me, as I'm a junior member I'm not allowed to do this however. Additionally all my messages on the board have been postponed as they are moderated manually.
