Hmm... I have been keeping liquid cash in paypals money market at something like 4.6%. It could be advantageous to have it already in the broker.

    Tiki,

I am looking for advice not wanting to become negative or contrary. Are you sure you're getting $1 per day to a $2000 account balance? Unless my math is wrong that's above 18%. I would assume that the demo account gets the exact same curiosity as a stay account and my demo account of 1000 earns about $0.14 per day which (again trusting the math) is around 4 percent. Is my math wrong? I know that you can readily get $1 a day attention with a positive swap, but when I can get that on my account balance with Oanda it would be great!

What's the current rate? How is it determined?
4.15percent is the rate at the moment.

Somebody can post the formulation of interest calculation?

    Is it = Account Amount x Interest% / 365 Days

This really is an excellent calculator to compute your daily interest rate:

The calculator will probably be off somewhat for longer periods, as with Oanda you get basically countinous compounding of interest payment, whereas I assume this calculator uses the banking standard of quaterly compounding (or none at all). Its not that much over a year tho, but somewhat better than'normal' banking regular.
