Could somebody who has traded in oanda for some time give me an idea as to when their spreads return no ordinary after weekend?

    A lot of thanks.

I just realized Oanda is paying attention on account balances

Not just carry trades, but if you have money in your account, it
    makes interest too.... sweet...

That is why I keep all my extra cash in there... at a sub account that I don't touch...!! Makes more there than at a checking account someplace and more than most savings accounts too...!!

Hmmm, too bad it is not FDIC insured.

What is the current rate? How is it determined?

4.5% is your current rate... They basically average how muchis on your account on a second by second basis. . .So if youhave $10,000 in the afternoon for 12 hours and $12000 in the afternoonfor 12 hours, that days interest will be on $11,000

I don't understand the rate!!! Sorry... but on a 2K account... it's about $1 per day... much superior than my bank could provide... and also I presume FDIC is only insuring a particular sum per dollar.... Not 100%... I might be wrong though...

Looks like my account is about a fraction over 5.5% (GBP account) I've just opened it and'm unfamiliar with it yet, only wanted to transfer my spread betting money somewhere else. The curiosity is a nice bonus!
