Thread: Spreadbetting broker with end of day GMT plus 2

Are there some brokers that end midnight GMT 2 instead of midnight GMT ie to coincide with NY end instead of UK midnight?

That's strange, many FX brokers wind with NY but their dates are right. I've also found SB broker ETX Capital ends with NY and their dates are right also. They have adequate spreads and MT4.

I have only had a peek at LCGs MT4 also it also ends at midnight UK so that it's daily candles are skewed too. It also does something odd with it has hourly charts, beginning the previous 2 candles in 5 minutes past the hour.

I have now checked out at 10 SB brokers and can affirm that if using MT4 only ETX Capital offers GMT 2 coinciding with NY end daily. The remainder finish 2-3 hours short of the with candles out of sync with most Forex brokers. When questioned they do not know the significance of the which I find puzzling.

LCG told me some time back their daily charts end at 2200 UK time. I guess this would be to coincide with NY but it's the odd side-effect of providing their daily candlesticks the incorrect date. Since the new candlestick starts at 2200 tonight, it's today's date, which is a dumb glitch I wish they could fix.
