Thread: Currenex vs Hotspot FXi: Life view screenshot

    Hi folks,

    I have requested Currenex life perspective demonion from several brokers, sadly it seems like all of them showed me same demonion as the amounts at which 1:1 match on all demos.

    This appears to be single system setup by currenex.

    So I chose to put that side by side with Hotspot FXi presentation, see the screenshot attached.

    Currenex seems to have a upper hand in this one. Of course this hardly reflects reality of this machine you receive with brokers.

    Which Currenex broker would you recommend or warn to avoid?

    * ADMD
    * Capital Forex Pro
    * Twowaymarkets
    * vCap

    Thanks!

    here is what I am viewing on Currenex right now. I am not on a pc where I could deliver HSFXI but I will try and do that after... so far from what I see Currenex is much better.

    I don't believe so Currenex demonion does not ordinarily have partial pips with spreads this low, EU on currenex demonion has considerably higher spreads. . .just my input. . .looks enjoy live act or live view anyhow.

    EDIT: Then again the first image of currenex presentation shows partial pips.

    Joking.
    At least disperse and liquidity wise the demo shot appears comparable on EUR/USD.

    Did CX changed for better in recent months, so all these have fractional pip prices and low disperse?

    I got same demo from TWM, ODL, CF and ADMD

    Fxtrader42 and everybody else who knows CX and FXi, I got a question to you:

    Do you believe that generally speaking FXi is a bit more dependable then CX in terms of quoting errors and as a result there's a lesser opportunity to experience busted trades on FXi?

    And because we are at it, how would you rate the threat of busted trades on the above mentioned ECNs? Is that something everybody should expect and can get or is it quite really, very rare / bad fortune scenarios.

    To start with it is not a demonion or a live perspective. I've been testing this for a broker that I have done business with in the past. I've not ever seen a live view or any view that reveals the banks that offer liquidity. Currenex has had fractional pricing like this for the past couple of years as much as I know. But they now have a retail feed, and that is exactly what I had been revealing and that retail feed gets tighter then the institutional feed. I expect that I can announce who'll be offering this in the upcoming few weeks to a month. The company I am working with is just testing it with I believe 5-10 participants and is looking to go live quite soon. HSFXI and Currenex are very near identical. But, Currrenex has had better and tighter liquidity from what I can see.

    When comparing both platforms, it may be better to use the tradeview window out of FXi. Setup amounts of 1,5,10,15 and 20 millions. The tradeview-spreads do incorporate concealed iceberg-orders that aren't observable in the ecn-vew window.
