I had been about to open an acount with them. . .but this seems ridiculous and unjust....how can they restrict un from yanking your own money.
I must look for another broker now.
Any proposals for any other broker? Preferable from UK
Until now they're only claiming that they are exploring on my trading action and they'll remove trades that are against the terms of company, but they haven't deleted anything yet.Originally Posted by ;
I contacted the FSA and they started a procedure of evaluation, Alpari has now 8 weeks to reply to this.
I'll keep you posted
I never did - but I suggest contacting an attorney. From the US if you file a claim with the NFA and you also get denied by the arbitrator, then you have to pay the lawyer fees of the broker - when the broker decides to file a counterclaim. Judging from the amounts that can be a variable of what's under dispute . For instance, http://www.nfa.futures.org/basicnet/...ase=08ARB00052 is an instance where the plaintiff got hit with 26K attorney fees, once he got his case dismissed.Originally Posted by ;
I dont know if its the same with the FSA, but you should be well aware of the legal impliions of what it is you are doing. Hence, lawyer.
In accore with a myfxbook page, you left ~12K on a single DE30 trade (which I assume is alpari's DAX cfd). Your account equity prior to the trade was ~4K, also ~16K following the trade.
In case you did commerce on a clearly erroneous price to archieve this result, you have to expect this fill will be reversed. Happens on regular trades as well.
You should really post the particulars of this commerce (time, price and amount of the executions) in this thread - otherwise its not possible to judge if a claim has some merit.
