How can a broker permit this to happen, they stated 24/7 up time.

Ibfx if you find this, please contact your host/server and UPGRADE IT!

And yes IBFX SERVER WAS DOWN THIS MORNING

    [b]anyhow...
my god just leave this fucking broker. It pisses me off that ibfx is performing so shit, but you guys gotta reveal that the consumer (us traders) have the power. COmplaining isn't going to help if the transactions keep going through them. You have ta cut and leave their income. .

It wouldn't be appropriate for me to print details, but from my knowledge of this incident I could say this was beyond IBFX's control (easily could have been some other broker) and their response period to solve the issue was impressive.

F*** Ibfx is having connection issues again. . IM departing this broker soon.
Just when the EU rallied 100 pips desired to manual TP but it dropped back 20 pips -_- EFSF stuff jesus.

Fyi its not me, its the host, went to check with other traders using ibfx as well. Any recommendations? oanda? Easy/fast deposit withdrawal without any lagging when trading. . thanks. !

I have noted identical issues with IBFX in the past, i.e. trading platform lost connection with their server on more than occasion. I can't vouch for the issues specifically as I wasn't logged on my platform to see it.

It had been about three weeks ago when their server was down for well over one hour. I called them about the telephone and the gentleman I spoke with said they were aware of the problem and working to repair it, albeit he did not provide an ETA on the length of time they would take to get it back up running.

However, more critically, there have been about three or four cases since I combined them ( because 2007) when their website was down along with the trading platform connected just fine. I checked the website standing periodically and in every instance, it took a few hours before it came back up. My local time is US Pacific time and it required them better part of the night to get it fixed. How can a company's entire website be down? Seems unprofessional and I truly believe they need to receive their house in order.

    . . .any recommendations? oanda?
I'm looking for a demonion with Oanda at the moment. Thus far I'm happy, however, I think there will be problems with any among them given sufficient time.
One thing I found interesting is that in the Risk Disclosure Statements for all of these brokers (likely a requirement by the CFTC) they state the amount of accounts they have and the trend over the past year. They also state the% profitable versus unprofitable, which I must not discover shocking, but it is sobering exactly the same. Both brokers only have roughly a quarter to a third profitable accounts. This is a tough way to create a buck.
    For comparison here's your data
IBFX's, that can be down 19%
    Complete Non-Discretionary Accounts
    --------------------------------
    Q4 2010: 13655
    Q1 2011: 12979
    Q2 2011: 11354
    Q3 2011: 11009
Oanda's, that is up 7 percent
    Complete Non-Discretionary Accounts
    --------------------------------
    Q4 2010: 27736
    Q1 2011: 29257
    Q2 2011: 30304
    Q3 2011: 29744

DO YOU BELIEVE IT!? Its HAPPENING! UNTIL TODAY I cant believe they dont look into it, therefore unprofessional, these brokers are just bunch of casinos that mask themselves professionally, yet they dont provide better servers. Especially if this involves clients money. .

The thing is, they use the same host for WEBSITE MT4... to get US AND AUS. . After the host is down, EVERYTHING IS DOWN! If customer support not online, u cant do anything!

Im not whining because I lose money, I didn't eliminate money, merely frued with service, I complain since this is not the method for me to operate my forex personal business this way with this disconnects, suppose I needed to manually handle when the server is down.

Thanks I will surely change broker once the time is perfect. Fedup

    MOMO: what broker use?

Have not noticed. Clock is updated but prices aren't upgrading.

Tried to restart and didn't work, also. .

    Anyone has further information?
