Thread: Jordis system

First, I have offered this thread as my trading diary about a trading thought I've got. So I'm not going to teach anyone. Also, I have opened a tiny real account to try this, a demo account is great, but it is not exactly the same as real cash.

In fact, the thought it is pretty straightforward, but it is difficult to follow all of the rules, and that's the main reason behind this particular thread. I would like to prove myself the concept is legitimate, and I can follow the rules.

The first rule and this is actually the only one I'm going to disclosure, is this:

    - If daily candle opens and closes over the Pldot, just buy.
    - If daily candle opens and shuts under of the Pldot, only sell.

By way of instance, it had been a sell signal on Monday, so I'm selling NZDUSD ever since then. Let's see just how far it goes.

Only a month back, I opened my first stake with this trading account. I analyzed my idea and I'm not happy with the results, the account is positive, but the drawdown is huge, so I'm gonna to make a few changes.

Now I start again. Attached is a screenshot of my commerce report.

This is my trade report, from Feb. 5 to Feb 9:

Ultimately, kiwi has shut slightly above of the Pldot, I was expecting a close over the open. Anyway, it looks like a bullish phase is round the corner.

This week's end (Thursday and Friday ) was poor and has wiped out the pips won from Monday to Wednesday. Trend reversals are usually bad. I dropped -31.80 PL, and 53.10 pips.

Jordi, how is Pldot defined? It looks like a 5 SMA or comparable

it is possible to search Pldot in google. The Pldot is the main indior of the Drummond Geometry.

Attached is the indior I use, and this is actually the PLdot formula:

    1 Attachment(S ) ) Sell signal on GBPAUD

Most probably, today NZDUSD will close over the pldot, generating a buy signal on daily chart, however on weekly chart, it was a sell signal last week, so I am not likely to buy this pair right now.
The GBPAUD sell signal isn't functioning well, right now. Let's see if it's canceled in the subsequent days.

Yesterday USDCAD generated a sell signal. I have tried to start out shorts on USDCAD, but with no much success. Also, I'm out of GBPAUD.
I believe it's better to focus on a single pair before the system isn't finished. Anyway, this really is being a terrible week.
