    Hello rolfw,

    It isn't important if you use the close of the prior daily bar or the open of the current daily bar to determine whether you are buying or selling; backtesting indied that both price points gave comparable results for pairs examined. The decision to place a transaction is straightforward as clarified in post 1, step 1 (for buy) and step 6 (for sell). The gist of the trading method is that you are opening trades in the direction of the current daily trend and walking away.
