Thread: 3 NEWBIE questions

  1. #1
Hey, I've been reading everybody's posts and all and I had three questions, two of which can be kind of replied, but please leave your feedbacks. Great

    1) In which region can I select the greatest high/lowest low?
A: Apparently the vertical can go past the first point (right point) but not the left point

    2) Why draw both supply and demand lines?
A: To determine which side may break and transaction from there. If both break, close the initial position and go with the second because forex is very lively and you want to be following the most recent data.

    3) What if my supply and demand lines appear weird - that is at awkward angles?
A: Apparently, require lines(uptrend)'s left point _has_ to be under the ideal point. For supply lines, the left point has to be higher than the ideal point. This is to guarantee the slopes.

    == Real Question ==
    4) Can the trendlines penetrate a few candle bodies?

I've seen people post no but I've also seen pictures in which they do go through bodies...

What're your ideas on such questions?!?

I simply begun trading so feedback is much appreciated. BTW, nice to meet y'all.

two) Why draw both demand and supply lines?
A: To determine which side might break and transaction from that point. If both split, close the initial place and go with the second since Foreign Exchange is quite lively and you would like to be following the most recent data.

A: Apparently, demand lines(uptrend)'s left line _has_ to be under the right point. For supply lines, the left line needs to be higher than the right point. This is to guarantee the proper slopes.

    4) Can the trendlines penetrate some candle bodies?

I've seen people post no but I've also seen pictures in which they do move through bodies...

What're your thoughts on these questions?!?

I read that Mouteki enjoys a 45 degree angle, so I look for trend lines around that... If it's too sharp, then you likely wont get an entry anyway. Too horizontal kinda makes the trade a break of a resistance or support line, instead of a trend line.

    I have newbie question #5:

    5) When drawing on the DeMark fashion line, can fashion line candles share spacer candles? ... Or, does each one have to have two seperate candles into the left and right?

    Thanks...

Sorry but I utilize NinjaTrader so that I can't use EAs from what you provide here. It's a good program and I would rather draw the item since I'm mixing it with a momentum fashion commerce, utilize the Mouteki to see whether the trend is reversing into the rice projection since both approaches utilize the 4h charts.

I'm almost positive they can share..atleast that's what I have come to believe, and if you think about it, it seems logical. And although im still a newbie, my supply/demand traces have proved to be accurate in testing so far...

    but if I'm wrong. . I welcome all criticism/correction.

I was thinking the other way... But, you have read DeMark's things, so I'll go with you.

For my logic, I simply don't like both trend line candles which close. Anyway, it would most likely be a real little trade with only 2 or 3 candles separating the fashion candles... I guess if the day chart other filters/indiors give you a fantastic entry, then it appears to be a fantastic trade.

Correction, I've LEAFED THROUGH DeMark's stuff, im focusing on studying the entire thing. Lets not go together with me lol. I think it would qualify as a legitimate tdtl, but like you said, it would most likely be an extremely modest trade.

For my logic, I just don't enjoy the two trend line candles which shut. Anyway, it would most likely be a real little trade with just 2 or 3 candles dividing the fashion candles... I figure if the day chart other filters/indiors provide you a fantastic entrance, then it appears to be a fantastic trade.
