Thread: Rainbow Patterns/Observations

I am using this journal to post graphs of different patterns I've come across using Linuxtroll's rainbow. . .and to record my progress with it.

So, first of all, here's the thread: Linuxtroll Simple Scalping

And here is Linuxtroll's ebook: also titled, http://www.cyrox.com

Also there are already two newspapers about the rainbow...

Kharvell's journal: See My Blue Rainbow

    's journal: Blue Waves

    OK, on to the graphs...

I look forward to watching your progress! You are doing good so far! Journals are among the best ways to think about your trading objectively. Make sure to post your winners, too, because let's face it, nobody's perfect, and that gives you something to look forth.

    Best of luck,

Here is a pattern I have noticed a few times. When it does this(spine turning but price has not taken off yet) the consequent move is usually marginally important...

Here is the Bernanke/Bush speech a week back and what I saw...

And here's what I saw on today's NFP(the resulting move 2 hours later)...

For the record, Im double posting some of these charts(I posted them on the Linuxtroll thread), but I am attempting to gather them in one place so they're easier to find later on.

Here is a breakout routine I'm noticing that seems to be dependable so far. It is really hard to notice because its happening. In the graph, it shows what the graph looked like before the huge drop happened.

The next is about the same pattern on the graph of the Bernanke address I just submitted. Nevertheless, Im not sure I would have traded this breakout since, with speeches, price can whipsaw really awful.

    Anyhow, charts...
