Re: Animal analysis
Note: Please, this is not a joke, so don't make fun. It's just an idea. I hope someone can try it because I don't have enough animals. The idea is this: Why don't we use animals to predict price movement, as happens in the World Cup? Animals predict who wins or loses. Why not use their instinct to anticipate the market? If someone here has several cats, dogs or other animals, I would like you to try this: For example, take two papers and write on them EUR/USD. Then put "sell" on one and "buy" on the other. Let the animals choose between those two papers. Example: if 3 cats choose to sell and 2 choose to buy, you open an operation for sale (that's democracy).

Re: Animal analysis
I asked my rabbits if they bought EUR/USD or not. Since 1995. I have made 50.001 pips. Thanks Bugs Bunny. Neuronal Network Algorithm and Economics.

Re: Animal analysis
This reminds me of a CFDs trading book I read years ago. The author said that she did not operate on the days her dog vomited (yes, seriously.

Re: Animal analysis
I see you are in a serious project, but as a citizen of the world I must warn: NO ANIMAL, PLANT OR ARBOL MUST BE DAMNED IN THIS EXPERIMENT! Now, if you want to try humans, go ahead.

Re: Animal analysis
Hahaja I love the idea... when all the expensive robots fail and the strategies are useless, we return to nature... it just proves that we think we are smarter than we are. I have a dog and three cats... I could name each cat a couple of currency and make the dog referee. It’s a joke, I love my pets and try to keep them away from gambling, forex, sins and drugs.

Re: Animal analysis
Because: We already have bulls and bears. We are smart enough to know that those predictions are mounted. It is easier to barbecue with the animals than to expect them to make the price right.

Re: Animal analysis
Are you serious? If so, try it first. Post the results in this thread, I’m sure more than one follows it. I’m completely serious. The one who thinks beyond his time is often misunderstood.

Re: Animal analysis
Some gurus say that humans tend to make emotional decisions when they enter/out of operations, leading to worse results than if it were random. So perhaps using animals has more logic than relying on a brain full of dopamine and fear.
