Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
I have decided to open this journal to document my operation based solely on the action of the price and psychology of the market. No indicators, neither EMAs, nor RSI, nor MACD. Only candles, structures and behavior. I operate mainly in frames of 1H and 4H, and sometimes daily use for context. My goal: to show that you can have consistency without relying on “magic tools”. Zero indicators. All human decision. Is it more difficult? Yes. Is it worth it? Also.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
First daily trade: EURUSD short at 1.0812. Entry after seeing failure of rupture in key resistance and double rejection with superior wicks. Stop at 1.0845, take profit at 1.0740. Risk/benefit ratio of almost 1:2. Now it's time to let it run and not interfere emotionally.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Result: +72 pips. The price collapsed after the rejection, just as I had foreseen. I did not move the stop, I did not close before time. It is easy to write it, another thing is to do it. The lesson here was not the technique, it was patience. I entered, managed and waited.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Second trade: GBPJPY long at 191.25 after bullish envelope pattern just above daily support. Stop at 190.65, TP at 192.80. For now it keeps floating without much direction. If I skip the SL, well, it is part of the game.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Stop touched. -60 pips. The pattern painted well, but the market had other plans. Later review: valid entry, doubtful context. When one operates without indicators, the context is ALL. I trusted myself on a level without real strength behind. I follow.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Daily update: current balance +12 pips net. In three days I have operated twice. I do not look for volume, I look for quality. Trading is waiting for the market to speak to you clearly, not guess what it will say.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Today I did not operate. The market was erratic and the volatility was misleading. The biggest edge was not to enter. Not opening a position is also a decision. Sometimes the best.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
New trade: short in AUDUSD since 0.6652. Triple rejection with long wicks in 4H. TP ambitious at 0.6570. SL at 0.6675. I go with low risk and breathing space.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
The trade keeps running. I closed partially with +30 pips and secured the rest in BE. It’s not always about hitting everything, but about winning more when you hit and losing little when you don’t.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Comment for those who believe that without indicators you can’t. The price says ALL if you know how to read it. It’s not about looking at more things, but about seeing more CLARO what you already have in front of you.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Today's trade: no entry. I expected reaction on USDCHF support and it didn't happen. I didn't anticipate. Waiting is to operate. I still defend that the real edge is in discipline, not strategy.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Open Question: Does anyone else operate without indicators? I would like to exchange ideas with those who base everything on structure and PA. This diary is also to learn from others, not just to show results.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
I take this opportunity to remember something: what has made me better was not a new pattern, it was to stop operating because of anxiety. Fewer entries, better analysis, more peace of mind. The price is a story that needs to be heard.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Many people laugh at operating “at eye” with candles. But then you see them erase and redo their indicators a thousand times because they don’t understand the real movement. Less excuses and more observation, comrades.
Re: Daily trading without indicators: only price, patience and psychology
Weekly balance: +146 net pips, 4 winning trades, 2 losers, 1 break-even. I still do not use ANY indicator. Only price, context and patience. This is not magic, it is to read the market with attention and operate with respect. See you next week.
