Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Hi everyone, I want to share with you my experience operating GBP/JPY. For now it seems a very treacherous pair, but if you master it well, you can become a millionaire in a week. Does anyone have really profitable and effective strategies or systems? I like the Sidus system and also the knife, you what do you use, friends? Ele.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Supports and resistances, H4 channels with fibos and lines 00. The G/J needs ECN, retail brokers have spreads too high. Today with ECN spread varies between 2 and 6 pips (commission included)

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Hey, buddy, could you stick the link in the KNife system?
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Does anyone explain to me what the KNife system is?

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
The Knife system is within the James 16 group, which is only accessed with subscription.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Hi, G/J is in range right now. I don’t know what your system is with supports and resistances, that sounds too generic. I like to do scalping in M1, although I think about it a lot because G/J is very delicate with that style. How do you scalping with this pair lately?

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
What is your trading system? If you can, upload a chart as well. Thank you.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Did anyone get Felix's last e-mail, satellite pagers for the KFS, what do you think?

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I have made good winnings these last two weeks with GBP/JPY using only MACD in 1 hour and 5 minute graphics. The entries have gone well because the pair has been trapped between 235 and 230. Almost any operation within that range came out winning with some patience. But I think that range no longer endures - the daily graph is spiraling down DNA type and will probably break soon. I already have pending orders prepared above 235 and below 230 to get on the move if breakout is given.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Hi, I was reading on the forum and I found this group dedicated only to GBP/JPY. I loved it. I only operate this pair, and only with scalping. Later I will upload some graphics from my tickets. The only problem is that I operate on two monitors of 21 to full screen, so the captures look something small. But to understand a good scalping, you need to see multiple temporalities. I’m glad to be around. Keep it up, put it in the bank piitb

This thread is old and has not had much participation. Malcolm’s about GBP/JPY has taken off quite a bit. Check it out.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I don’t understand why everyone gets obsessed with indicator-filled systems if the only thing that matters in G/J is the price action. This pair doesn’t forgive mistakes and much less doubts. I’ve been scalping on M5 for months with weekly supports and psychological lines. Sometimes it works, sometimes it eats you alive, but at least I’m no longer following Christmas lights on the chart.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
To those who ask about the Knife system: if they don’t find it, it’s probably not for you. Not everything in life is a click away. I tried it a long time ago. I didn’t think it was anything from the other world. If you don’t understand the market context, no system is going to save you, neither Knife, nor Sidus, nor the holy grail.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I'm trying a new approach with G/J: Scalping in M1 with volume and absorption. I forgot the indicators and I focused on seeing who's pushing the price. It's not easy, and yes, there are days that burn your head, but the tickets that go well make up for you. Whoever says G/J is just for braves, doesn't lie.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Someone commented that he uses MACD on M5. Do you really think a MACD is going to save you with this violent pair? That’s like getting into a fight with a plastic spoon. If you’re going to do it, do it right. Learn how to read the impulses and setbacks as if your money depended on it (because it depends on

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I operate G/J with a strategy based on liquidity imbalances. No indicators, only zones where it is clearly noticed that someone is accumulating or distributing. This approach changed the way I see the graph. It’s not magical, but at least I don’t spend the day waiting for two moving stockings to cross.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Those who keep looking for systems in forums like this are lost. No one is going to give you something that really works, let alone in an abandoned thread. Do yourself a favor and start creating your own approach. The trial and error process is painful, but it is the only one that really teaches you something.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
It has worked for me to combine levels of supply and demand with the London news. If just before a key news the price approaches an area, there is usually a strong movement. The important thing is to have clear areas before the market goes crazy. It is not worth entering because yes. Timing is everything in G/J.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Many enter GBP/JPY looking for adrenaline. That’s not trading, that’s vice. If you can’t control your pulse, this pair will destroy you emotionally. It took me a year to stop being an overtrading addict. I now only do 2-3 tickets a week, but with conviction.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Actually, this pair has given me more lessons of humility than anything else in life. It has left me dry more than once for not respecting my plan. There is no system that compensates for an unstable mind. If you cannot control your impulses, G/J is not for you.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I have seen many sell the ultimate strategy for G/J. They all end up the same: with a broken account and a new excuse. The only strategy that serves is the one that you understand, that you dominate, and that you can run without hesitation. Everything else is cheap marketing.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Scalping on M1 with GBP/JPY? Good luck with that. Either you have F1 pilot reflexes or you're going to be crying in front of the monitor. I prefer to operate on H1 with clear structure. Less emotion, more logic.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I am very interested in this area 00. Has anyone tried to operate fake breaks just over the round levels? I have noticed that in G/J there are many traps on those levels. A good trap followed by a strong rejection is pure gold if you can read it.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
There are days when G/J moves with surgical precision, and others where it looks like a loose bull. If you don’t know when to stay out, you’ve already lost. Operating is also knowing when NOT to operate. That’s the part that newbies never want to hear.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Once a mentor told me: If you can master G/J, you can operate anything. I didn’t believe him... until I tried. There is no more noble pair in his movements... but also more ruthless if you don’t understand his rhythm.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Lately I am applying break & retest strategy only in London and New York sessions. Accuracy improves a lot. Time has to be taken into account. The same pattern in Asian session is a deadly trap.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I'm starting to doubt it. Too many wicks, too many deceptions... I feel like you're eating me alive.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Honestly, if you're starting and entering G/J it's like throwing yourself into the sea with an ironing board. You're going to swallow water. Start with more noble pairs. Then come back and conquer this monster if you still want to.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
The problem for many is that they want to tame GBP/JPY. This pair is not tamed, it is respected. When you learn to surf their waves instead of facing them, everything changes.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
By the way, does anyone use footprint or volume profile in this pair? I’m intrigued to know if there’s an edge in those approaches with G/J. I’m tempted to prove it, but I don’t want to fall into the overanalysis trap.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
To all those who say I only operate price action: good for you. But don’t think that makes you smarter than the rest. The price action also fails, and many times. The key is in management, not in focus.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I'm starting to use Fibonacci levels, but only between key areas. No measuring from any wick. In G/J, 61.8% in proper context can be brutally effective.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
I'm going to make it clear: G/J isn't for whining. If you're affected by a losing operation, you're in the wrong place. This pair shapes you or destroys you. There's no middle point.
-
Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Someone asked about the breakup levels. I set maximums/minus of previous sessions and expect confirmation with volume. It is not infallible, but it filters out enough false breaks. And in G/J, that is already a blessing.

Re: Scalpers and GBP/JPY traders, this is your corner
Am I the only one who prefers to operate G/J only with news? I think that’s when it really moves in direction. But you have to be very attentive to the economic calendar and the market slips. It’s not for distracted people. (Continue with more similar answers until reaching 50
