Is opposite of losing egy a winning egy?

Therefore I have been trading for a long time as it's my passion. I've lost good quantity of money several years back which was a very good learning lesson regarding risk and cash management.

Since a reasonably long time I have tried so many things in the Forex market, I can't even count. Since last few days I've got this query that really makes me wonder and wanted to ask it here. So here it goes...

If I really have a egy that's consistently losing daily by 150-300 pips. If I examine this for 30 days. . .it loses that type of pips per day and every single moment. My question is what should I undo this egy? I mean I shall buy instead of sell and sell instead of buy. I will also do a TP instead of SL and will do SL instead of TP. In theory I feel it ought to make profits of 150-300 pips. But something within me tells me I shall still lose! :--RRB- But not certain why and how? Time permitting I am going to experiment this myself and share my results but I desired ideas from members and find some additional food for ideas.

If you're losing 150-300 pips per day, it's probably more than just the trade expenses? You have to consider fluctuation.

I'm very lucky to maintain a communiion with a super good sniper type of trader. He pretends to be a retail trader. I have the feeling. I know from him that he is the only 1 man who will trade his (magical) levels.

He's my cousin. He does not get it, at all, what I am explaining to him. I was angry. Very angry. Now this thing amuses me big time. I afford myself giving him EAs. He just does not have a notion what to do together.

On the opposing side, out of one of my EAs, he builded not a poor hybrid system. However he always attempts to fight the markets. For that I put him into the stupid traders group. He's making over 50% per month recently. Feb17 he created 65%. Trading 10k demo accounts. I will give him real money weekly. I will manage his profits, so whenever the D-day comes (that is inevitable once you fight the rate), it will not matter. We still be profitable.

I do preffer my 10% together with the market, versus his 50-60% against it. Plus when you are with the market, one can make 50-100per cent a day with low without a dd at all. My cousin is nowhere near that. I only work over that type of scenarious and will make it. I'm near, however not there yet, but I am certain that I will. Soon.

My best entries? D1 breakouts. That is my personal holy grail. I just run my EAs exactly on the D1 BO lines. In a bit and I am all in! These are the levels where you can brake all rules for money fucking idiotic management.

All you've got to do today, Aaven, would be to work out the flips which do follow then. And you'll have a winning egy, that does not fight the rate... It will be profitable. However, how profitable? This will depends on the quality of your thiking...

One final thing. Believing is EXACTLY like money. Number is Money's best Quality...

Reverse a losing egy, it sounds great theoretically but in practice you may bug your head so poorly. Lets say you undo and start losing what would you do then, reverse back again? This is similar to a brain trap. I'd suggest you find the egy that's winning and enhance it and adhere with it.

This is just all about contradiction why because it Is all bias on the way of the approach - Therefore we do have to Consider the Similar to this , we must have to be Subject in our Believing else we Can Not have the success

Well, Placing a loosing egy and not understanding the actual reasons why it is not functioning in the first place, most likely will lead to even more disastrous results and as somebody mentioned above, it'll bug your mind.

BUT, It could be a winning egy ONLY in the event the negative mathematical expectation per transaction is AT LEAST 2 TIMES LARGER than the cost of trading.
(cost = disperse commissions slippage swaps)
Over 99 percent of all losing systems have anticipation = 0 (before cost). So no sense is made by Placing the rules.

Incidentally, a long time ago this is how I discovered a number of the most profitable setups in my egy.
When I first started trading, I was consistent loser like many traders.
However I constantly analyze my trades in order to find out why my results are so poor, and I discovered that on some technical patterns I have a tendency to lose a lot more compared to other patterns.

Interesting alphaomega... mind sharing what the patterns are, or how frequent do they happen? How long have they lasted (# of years)?

The patterns are mathematical (time-price-volatility) relationships very hard to describe to external people who aren't acquainted with my trading methods. .
The patterns aren't visible on conventional charts, and that means you need specific software to detect them in real time.
The patterns occur almost daily. In some times there are over 20 good setups at the major fx pairs.
However, the chance to execute the trade usually last for just a few seconds up to 1-2 min. max. I have to be absolutely glued to the monitors throughout the trading session hoping that something good will pop up.

Normally I trade for 4-5 hours almost every day.
2 hours in the morning local time (London open/Asian near) and 2-3 hours in the afternoon where Europe and US time zones stinks.

So for today manual discretionary trading is still best for me.

Yes you may, till it fails. And trust me it will. Currency trading isn't sequencing. With this being the barest of asset classes, anything and everything will rock the boat.
