Thread: Re-coding the Sin Fractal indior

I am trying to convert this indior to operate on TradingView:
    https://www.mql5.com/en/market/produ...20#description

The calculation seems straightforward but I am getting very ridiculous amounts from this calculation. The measures for calculation are clearly shown on the image attached.

Here is exactly what I do to find the Right sin value of this angle a:Find the close of the bar the latest fractal appears on Discover the close of the latest bar (3rd bar from the fractal in the film ) Subtract close of this fractal bar from the close of the latest bar, this gives us the exact value b the Most Recent bar is 3 bars from the fractal bar, this gives us the exact value h To Obtain the value c, perform a basic hypotenuse calculation thus c = SQRT(h^2 b^2) SinFractal = 100 * (b / c) This should do the trick but I am getting quite tiny numbers as well as the graph I draw on TradingView is hugely different from what I see on MetaTrader.
Any ideas about what I am doing wrong here?
