Thread: Ergodic and Trigger Indior

    Attached is a replacement for FXSniper's Ergodic CCI and Trigger indior that some of you might use. The reason for the rewrite, is twofold. Because it did not appear to have anything to do with CCI at 28, one, I'm not certain why it had the title CCI inside. Second I had been very processor intensive by copying the entire indior on each new tick which is completely unnecessary. This really is a calculation intensive indior since it stands and having to perform these calculations tens of thousands of times for every tick could cause your MT4.

    Should display the same information, although the levels will indie lower than the initial.

    A few new things you may change:

    BarDiff (default). When doing the calculations, the gap between the current close and also the bar close are used. This parameter enables you to choose a bar farther back if you want, therefore the calculations might be from the current bar shut without the 5th bar.

    PriceType (default). Calculations are finished on the closing prices. Here you can fix them to be one of the following:
    0=Close, 1=Open, 2=high, 3=Low, 4=5, 5=Typical, 6=Weighted

    Must display exactly the identical information, although the amounts will signal lower than the initial.

    A few new things you may change:

    BarDiff (default 1). Normally when doing the calculations, the gap between the current close and also the prior bar close are used. This parameter lets you select a bar further back if you prefer, so the calculations may be from the current bar close without the 5th bar.

    PriceType (default 0). Normally calculations are finished on the prices. Here it is possible to fix them to be one of the following:
    0=Close, 1=Open, 2=high, 3=Low, 4=5, 5=Typical, 6=Weighted

    First of all thanks for the work.
    Can you tell me exactly what the FXSniper along with your indior depending upon as I would love to try and write one for your own GFT dealbook charts?

    HI Bruce,
    I have been testing your indior for the last week and it's been very encouraging. Thank you for your hard work in creating a fine indior.
    If you're interested I have an MTF model compiled by a buddy of mine with bars or without.
    I'm amazed at the difference.
    Thanks.

    Hello Lava,

    Well, I believe the major formula is a typical ergodic formula. Once that is calculated, the trigger line is a moving average of the line.

    Bruce, was there an alarm for if they crossed?
