Thanks for the message. I’m going to take a week to watch just a couple and see how I feel.
I have a question: if you only operate 1 or 2 pairs, how do you handle the lack of signals? Don't you become impatient?
Since I focused only on GBP/USD, I have managed to understand session patterns and how it behaves according to European openness. It helps me to operate more accurately.
To me the focus of specialization made me reduce the number of silly mistakes. By knowing well what to expect from each pair, I don’t let myself be carried by impulses.
I don't know if it'll be my way of being, but I need to have at least 5 open pairs. I'm calm to know that there are more possible scenarios.
I feel that when you have few pairs, your relationship with them changes. You understand the movements, the rhythms, almost like a dance.
Not everyone can operate a few pairs. There are personalities who are bored easily or need more visual stimulation. It is also valid, if they have method.
This made me reflect. I think I’m operating more out of anxiety than logically. I’m going to try to eliminate all but the clearest two.
If you don't know how to read the market, even if you see a single pair, you're going to keep losing.
One good practice I implemented is to rotate the pairs monthly. I have a fixed base and I assess whether any of them deserve to enter or leave the rotation.
