Thom Absolutely no offence taken it was my idea to begin with. However, like you I really do think it's merit.

Ditto about the hopes that the start time can be egorized to the EA.
Now's L.O. sure seems to be a sleeper right now. Perhaps the market is anticipating the UK news to the London morning outside an hour and a half?

This looks interesting. Will post my results and give it a go.
My first trade today using the EA for a reason I lost the writing on the display along with the trailing stop appeared to pack at the exact same time.
However I traded GBP/JPY and made 10 pips. (net) You know what they say about small acorns! And it was really choppy.

On losing the information info on a chart. . .one thing I have heard about MT4 EAs is it is one the chart is upward and EA on that chart to never change the chart at all. That goes for switching time frames, recompiling EA or just about anything else... they appear to be more tempermental about those items.

Hi Accrete. From some backtesting I have done buying or buying at 60%of the range appears profitable.
Are you able to adjust the EA to give you the option of changing the channel thickness?

I just signed up and found this thread. When I operate in in MT4 even though I analyzed EAs before, this one does not produce any stats. I place it on the GBPUSD chart (hourly), enable the EA, smiley face shows up alongside the EAs name on the chart, I then choose the date range in the egy tester and the final price simulation, assess Recalculate box and start... there are entrances in the journal after that but nothing on the graph nor on the profit/loss page. I tried both .ex4 document and compiling the source. They both operate but I'm not receiving any results on a Mar 1 - .
How do I get this to work? Thank you.
